Terrain Opens West Coast Cafe + Outpost in Palo Alto
I was first introduced to Terrain's physical shop + cafe concept when my SIL decided to hold her bridal luncheon at its original Pennsylvania location. The romantic space lends itself perfectly to such an event, and the combination of a chef run restaurant, picturesque space, and well-curated shop creates an experience worthy of an afternoon excursion.
Naturally, I was excited to learn that Terrain had opened a new location in the South Bay at Anthropologie's Palo Alto store. The cafe is run by renowned Chef Marc Vetri and is focused on seasonally inspired menus featuring farm fresh offerings. The cafe interior reflects the garden aesthetic of the shop with reclaimed barn wood floors, an antique garden panel wall, a communal farm table, woven garden tables and chairs and abundant natural light coming in through the floor to ceiling windows. It's available to rent out for events (garden party anyone?), or you can book yourself a reservation for brunch or dinner through OpenTable.
As for the shop, you can expect to browse everything you need to create your dream garden or outdoor space, from a selection of plants and gardening tools to outdoor lighting and decor with a decidedly Anthropologie vibe. You can find them at the Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, CA or shop Terrain online here.
