Dorm Room Decor: Scandi Chic

In honor of back to school season, we’ve decided to try something new and bring you a series. Every week for a month we’ll be bringing you a new dorm room design. Keep checking back, and you can find all the current posts here. 

For our first post of the series, we’re bringing you a "Scandi Chic" design. The look embraces the concept of Hygge with an emphasis on comfort while keeping things simple, modern and clean. We’ve incorporated soothing blues warmed up by natural wood tones and brought in elements like the chunky knit blanket and wall mounted planters to encourage getting comfortable and enjoying the environment. The room is further unified by a geometric motif with the triangles of the planters echoing the pattern on the rug.
