Dorm Room Decor: Fashionable Digs
In honor of back to school season, we’ve decided to try something new and bring you a series. Every week for a month we’ll be bringing you a new dorm room design. Keep checking back, and you can find all the current posts here.
For this week's dorm, we're going for extra style points with "Fashionable Digs." Put your wardrobe on display (who says fashion can't be art?) with a pipe frame clothing rack that creates some extra storage space when a compact dorm room closet just isn't going to cut it. A faux fur stool placed nearby creates a comfortable spot for putting on your shoes or fixing your makeup, and a starburst mirror finishes off the corner for a "your own private little dressing-room" vibe. We picked bedding in a luxe-looking fabric with a sheen and floral quilting which gives it some added texture and ties in with the motif of the artwork and the rug. The rug picks up on the purple, gold and blush accents in the room and feels feminine without being saccharine. The artwork feels cohesive with the pink flowers bringing the pieces together, while the "girl with flowers" print feels like a fashion editorial.
