Welcome to the weekly Design Dispatch. This week we're talking inspiring tips and inspiration for outdoor living, SF Pride’s virtual celebration of 50 years, how SFPL is bringing storytime outside, and what Martha knows.

Making the most of whatever outdoor space you have, be it a backyard, tiny urban balcony or a rooftop seems to be on everyone’s mind after months of SIP, here are a few of our favorite tips we’ve found on the web this week:

Apartment Therapy introduced us to this viral tip to working outside that keeps the glare off your computer screen, and costs zero dollars.

And finally, the One Room Challenge is winding down, here are our favorite outdoor spaces to get inspired. Floral designer Cynthia created the cutting garden and flower studio of our dreams, this beach hut from Lazy Haven is giving us major vacation vibes, and this modern patio makeover by Joyful Derivatives has all the right elements.

You can now support your local roasters while getting your caffeine fix from home. Trade coffee promises to match your with your perfect beans, and with a roster of 400+ options from local roasters across the US (including SF favorites Ritual and Sightglass), there’s no shortage of options. LOCAL INTEREST:

As a part of their annual Summer Stride program, San Franciso Public Library has created Storywalks” for children, combining a local hike with a children’s book by installing pages on signs alongside the trail.

It’s the 50th Aniversary of Pride in SF, and they are commemorating the occasion with a virtual celebration over the weekend. You can stream the event live this Sat June 27, 1-9 pm and Sun, June 28, 2-7 pm and you can find the lineup of artists on their website now, this year you won’t need to show up early to get a great view of the stage.

Two new shows have just been announced on HGTV, IG star and designer, Orlando Soria is back with a new name and take on his show from last year, now titled “Build Me Up” and focused on helping people through life transitions and drops July 22. They’ve also announced a new gardening show titled “Martha Knows Best” with an expected release in 2020 from the OG Martha Stewart, the queen of creating beautiful spaces indoors and out.
