These Small Brands are Making Reusable Face Masks Now
*Updated from April 6th, 2020. Everyone, wear a mask!
It’s been a whirlwind of a week, and with the CDC’s reversal of their previous recommendations on wearing a face covering, everyone is rushing out to find one. They are now recommending a cloth mask, in part, so we save the desperately needed N95’s and surgical masks for those on the front lines.) Luckily, as we’ve been finding, again and again, local makers, small businesses, and other artisans have been stepping up quickly to fill in when things are needed. Here are a few of the small brands and makers you can now purchase a mask from, so you can support a small business or individual while helping keep your family safe.
