Lillian Farag Brings Her Expressive Prints to Pepper Home
We’ve always loved “outfit to a room” stories because we’re firm believers that great style translates to more than one facet of design be it fashion or interiors, and that how you accessorize an outfit is a pretty good indicator of how you might want to dress your couch. This collection is no exception.
Textile artist Lillian Farag first came to our attention with her pretty hand-marbled leather accessories, so when we saw she was collaborating on a line of housewares our interest was piqued. While the watercolor-esque prints are a bit of a departure from her slightly quirkier pieces they have the same carefree, expressive aesthetic rendered in a modern palette of on-trend shades like millennial pink and deep blue that play well together making them ideal candidates to mix and match.
According to Lillian, “The collab came about when Erin Banta and Kelsey Brown of Pepper-Home reached out wanting to create a line of beautifully curated accessories for the home and were looking for sophisticated and colorful patterns. They were adamant on creating a line that helped people, "love the space they’re in." We focused on an organically designed range of expressive strokes and florals that could be integrated into any space.”
