Emily Henderson’s Rummage for Good Sale is this Saturday in LA

Shopping a good rummage sale ranks high on my list of enjoyable Saturday activities, shopping a rummage sale hosted by none other than stylist Emily Henderson is bucket list material. Sadly, I won’t be able to hop a flight out to LA for this one (don’t think I haven’t considered it) but if you happen to be in the area here are a few reasons you should go check it out.

Taking place this Saturday (03/03) from 9-4 at The Ruby Street in LA, all proceeds go to the charity Pen and Napkinwhich furnishes transitional housing for the homeless (more on them here).

AAside from taking place in a gorgeous space (a former church turned wedding venue), and benefiting a good cause, there will be activities onsite by LA company Joymode to help keep your kids entertained, and th Peaches Smokehouse and Southern Kitchen food truck will be there to make sure you aren't shopping on an empty stomach.

If you are interested in donating goods to the sale there's still time, you can find specifics on what they're acceptin here, and they will be taking drop-offs Friday 03/02 (today!) from 2-6pm. Donating will score you an early bird access ticket, meaning you get to shop from 8-9am before things are too picked over.
