Welcome to the weekly Design Dispatch. This week we're talking celebrating Halloween safely, a shelf for cats, and a sustainable fashion brand that's expanding its sizing.

DESIGN NEWS:

Sustainable clothing brand Christy Dawn has added an inclusive sizing range to their pretty deadstock fabric dresses. While we believe this is something every brand should be doing already, we're happy to see their beautiful clothes become available to everyone.

With many cities discouraging trick or treating this year due to Covid, parents are looking for alternative ways to celebrate. We think this list has many great options, from a candy scavenger hunt to going all out with the decor this year.

The Etsy Design awards are going on now, and you can vote for your favorites by October 7th, or browse the 100 inspiring finalists for a beautifully curated handmade shopping experience from a tunic sweater dress that's arguably a chic Snuggie to a floating shelf for your cats.

LOCAL INTEREST:

While Tea Collection likely won't be hosting their much-loved sample sale live in SF this year, you can currently find 100's of pieces at sample sale prices (under $20!) during their Semi-Annual Sale online now through October 4th.
