The Cutest Socks to Layer or Wear Alone

I used to be in the camp of socks as pure utility, something that I wore when the temperature dropped below a certain threshold and eschewed on all other occasions. An item that encroached on my limited drawer space and that I sought to conceal lest they ruin my outfit. Then I picked up a couple of seriously cute pairs while out shopping over Christmas this year, and my mind was forever changed. These socks were far from outfit-ruiners, they made the outfit. I took pleasure in finding ways to mix and match them with my favorite shoes, letting a striped cuff peek out from a pair of ankle boots or unabashedly pairing a glittery copper pair with my favorite peep-toe clogs (yep, socks and sandals, and I wasn’t even mad about it). Now that we’re in our current collective state of work from home, well really, just everything from home, if you’re like me, socks are probably the only thing on your feet most days. So why not make the most of it with one of these cute pairs? Bonus, they’ll look great with whatever shoes you throw on to run out and get the mail. Might we suggest a pair of clogs?
